GFH Properties is a subsidiary of GFH Financial Group incorporated and registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2016. Led by Mr. Majed Al-Khan leads GFH Properties through his position as Chief Executive Officer alongside a highly experienced executive team.

The hotel will be on Manama’s waterfront, and feature a rooftop bar. The Mama Shelter pipeline includes sites in Lille, London, Paris West, Luxembourg, Dubai, Santiago de Chile, Rome and Lisbon.
Some say Bahrain was the Garden of Eden, and the ancient stories and poetry peeks out all over this verdant island nation where twisting glass towers and spired skyscrapers shimmer over the emerald green waters and the lush palm groves.
Mama Bahrain, with will be the hotel brand’s 13th property.
Mama Bahrain’s rooms, where the emphasis is on comfort and simplicity with style, focusing on king size beds, five stars bedding alongside cutting-edge design elements by MAMA’s Design Studio, led by Benjamin El Doghaïli.
Each room comes complete with complimentary films and WiFi as well as a selection of products from the MAMA SKIN range of organic amenities, designed in partnership with French skincare brand Absolution and available to purchase in the Mama Shop.
Serge, Benjamin and Jérémie Trigano, co-founders of Mama Shelter, which has already revolutionised the hospitality industry in places as far apart as Paris, Prague, London, Los Angeles or Rio, recently visited the island and returned thrilled by what they had seen.
The company’s Chairman, Serge says, “When we visited Bahrain for the first time, we found men and women who were open to the cultures of other people and who were tremendously excited at the prospect of welcoming the MAMA experience to the city.”
MAMA’s CEO, Jérémie Trigano adds “We also discovered a beautiful site in the city of Manama on the banks of the Persian Gulf and a modern, forward-thinking partner, GFH properties, brought to us by the Accor teams.
Mama Bahrain will make its home in the prime waterfront area, enjoying unobstructed views of the marina. “Mama Bahrain is the first MAMA which will face the sea, explained Benjamin El Doghaïli, head of MAMA’s Design Studio. “The design has been thought out in two ways. Firstly, the relationship with the sea as it is a waterfront hotel with a marvellous rooftop bar / pool.
Mama Bahrain with have an all-day 470m2 restaurant, with brick oven pizzeria, as well as cocktail bars and speciality coffee shop, catered by the French award winning Terres de Café.
And of course, Mama Bahrain will have it’s trademark rooftop bar & pool. Clients will appreciate the swimming pool and solarium or simply eat great food, smoke hookah or have a cocktail on the 500 m2 rooftop.
