Batipart has diversified its activities since 2001, in the health field, particularly retirement homes, participating in the structuring of leaders in the sector.

Since 2007, the family is pushed by a desire to expand gloabally

In Africa, with the creation of the Onomo Hotel Group, and with the aim of developing about 20 hotels.

In 2019, with more than 600 employees, ONOMO manages 15 hotels representing a total of 2,000 keys throughout the African continent, notably in Morocco (Rabat, Casablanca), in West Africa (Conakry, Lomé, Abidjan, Dakar, Bamako and Libreville), South Africa (Cape Town, Durban, Sandton) and East Africa (Kigali). In 2018, ONOMO generated 24.5M EUR in revenue and plans to generate close to 40M EUR in 2019.

In Canada, in partnership with the Cogir Group, in the real estate field.

In Canada again, more recently, in the tourism industry, through the acquisition of the Parc Oméga.

Since 2005, the implication of Charles Ruggieri’s children in the group has led to the transmission of the group in 2018. Julien, Claire and Nicolas are respectively in charge of developing one of the group’s sector.

THPT Comment: Luxembourg is not known for it;s plethora of international chain hotels, so for CMIL to build up a portfolio of six Accor hotels, they have done well.
