Sandman were advised by law firm Sintons and financing was from Allied Irish Bank (GB). Owned and founded by the Gaglardi family, with Taj Kassam, President and COO …with Tom Gaglardi as Chairman & CEO.
The family also owns the NHL ice hockey team The Dallas Stars.
They appear to have bought the site in July 2014….
Also this week (2018) Sandman opened its first hotel in Atlantic Canada, the Sandman Signature St. John’s Hotel – 201 rooms
