Deutsche Adds Another Zleep in Europe, at Zurich Airport

Seller:An entire quarter is being developed on the new hotel site in Zurich-Kloten. In addition to the Zleep Hotel, a restaurant of the Peking Garden brand is being developed there, as well as various shops and apartments. The developer is a conglomerate. Previously there was no hotel at this location.
Buyer: Deutsche Hospitality has signed its first site in Switzerland for its Zleep budget brand. The 90 room property will be constructed in Kloten, close to Zurich airport, for a 2023 opening.
The hotel will operate under a franchise agreement with operator Säntis Home AG. Currently, Zleep has 13 hotels operating, with Switzerland becoming the brand’s sixth European country presence.
Santis are a gastronomy company providing food services, since 1991…as a subsidiary of Santis Holding and are better known for their catering at Trade Fair halls.
The hotel will also be home to a restaurant, retail outlets and privately owned apartments. There will be a generously proportioned lobby complete with a breakfast area and a bar. The Zleep Hotel Zurich Kloten will also introduce the “Hygge Standard” to the Swiss hotel sector for the first time.
Säntis Home AG runs the Holiday Inn Express Lucerne-Kriens with a total of 160 rooms. The Zleep Zürich Kloten will be their second hotel.
Transport links will be very good thanks to the presence of a public car park in the same part of the building and the direct proximity of Kloten railway station, which offers direct connections to both Zurich and Winterthur.
