THPT Comment: It is the first UK acquisition for7 Hospitality, which is headed by managing director Mohan Mulani, founder of the Harry’s bars and restaurant chain and the Club hotel in Singapore. The hotel is one of three businesses that property company JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group has been marketing as part of the BDL Select Portfolio. Sales of the Best Western Grosvenor hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon (sold April 2017) and the Best Western Marks Tey hotel in Colchester (sold May 2017) are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Built in 1870, this historical Scottish mansion, set among six acres of beautifully landscaped gardens including the listed Maze and Walled Garden, is in a suburban location a short drive from Dundee city centre. Interesting that the owners chose the DT by Hilton brand for this landmark building with the original features and intricate details including Latin inscriptions adorning the intimate family chapel!
