Seller: Europa Capital, who bought the hotel in 2017 under its value add Europa Fund V, as a Radisson Blu, before opting for a closure and upgrade, which re-opened in early 2019. The hotel will continue to be operated by Radisson Hospitality AB under a management agreement.

Europa Capital is a UK based dedicated real estate investment manager focused on the European markets. They specialise in investment through both equity and debt strategies.

Since its formation in 1995, Europa Capital has collectively raised ten real estate funds and committed to over 130 transactions totalling more than €11.3 billion across 20 European countries.

Europa Capital is majority owned by Mitsubishi Estate Co. Ltd, one of the world’s largest real estate groups, which is a strategic investor alongside Management.

Buyer: Wenaas Hotels Europe, part of Wenaasgruppen, who previously bought The Sobieksi Hotel in Warsaw off Europa in 2010. They currently have 26 hotels with some 11,000 room. Before this hotel in Poland, they last bought the 412 room Don Giovanni in Prague. The hotels are largely branded properties from mainly Radisson, in Denmark, Norway, Russia, Spain, Germany as well as Poland.
