Forbes Travel Guide, the global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas, today announced a selection of winners from it’s upcoming 2021 annual Star Awards.

Thirty-seven properties achieved a new Star Rating, with 26 awarded the coveted Five-Star status. All honorees are showcased on Forbes website. 

The 2021 award winners include Montage Hotels & Resorts, which is the only U.S. hospitality
group to achieve Five-Star accolades across its hotels, with Montage Deer Valley and Montage
Palmetto Bluff added to its Five-Star lineup.

North America gained 10 newly Star-Rated hotels, including Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at
Comcast Center and Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. The new winners helped Four Seasons retain it’s title as the hotel brand with the most Five-Star awards. The company now tallies 61 Five-Star hotels, spas and restaurants. Another U.S. property that earned the top honour was The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston, the only double Five-Star hotel and spa in Texas.

Asia Pacific celebrates eight new winners, including the Four-Star Hotel New Otani Tokyo The
Main and Five-Star newcomers The Capitol Hotel Tokyu in Tokyo; Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing; The Mulia – Nusa Dua, Bali; The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho, A Luxury Collection Hotel; The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo; The St. Regis Bali Resort; and Takanawa Hanakohro in Tokyo.

Seven top properties have been added to Forbes Travel Guide’s exclusive list of Five-Star spas
worldwide, which now sits at 90. They include The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing; Auberge Spa Chileno Bay in Los Cabos; Sunstone Spa in Palm Springs; Remède Spa Aspen and The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas. Both The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto and the Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center also won an award, making them the only FTG Five-Star spas in their respective cities.

Forbes Travel Guide is a world-renowned expert in genuine Five-Star service and announced its
2020 Star Awards in February. FTG has added to the prestigious list by revealing these 2021
winners early to provide getaway inspiration as travel picks up post-quarantine. These early 2021 honorees were inspected prior to COVID-19 closures.

Forbes Travel Guide now has 1881 Star Rated properties across more than 70 countries.
