The hotel will also feature 518 sqm of meetings space across three venues, including a 359 sqm ballroom. The resort will feature a pool, a fitness centre and a spa.

Additionally, positioned as a complete destination on its own, the resort will house a retail outlet, an indoor recreation centre and an outdoor recreation facility.

In a country driven by domestic tourism, our Holiday Inn hotels and resorts are great destinations for travellers looking for activities and amenities to keep the whole family engaged and relaxed, and we are committed to expand the brand to new markets in India.”

He added: The signing is testament to the confidence our owners and partners hold in IHG, despite the current impact of the global pandemic on our industry. In last three months, we have not only signed more hotels but with easing of restrictions, we have also opened existing and new properties in India to offer safe and reliable experiences that guests are looking for at this time, powered by IHG’s Way of Clean and our Clean Promise.”

Mr. Babu Reddy, Managing Partner, Riteway and Medha Projects: “We are thrilled to join hands for the upcoming Holiday Inn Resort Sakleshpur Western Ghats – the first Holiday Inn Resort in Southern India, and are happy to become a part of IHG’s global family.”
