IHG Opens Five-Star Crowne Plaza Dubai Jumeirah in Partnership With Ishraq Hospitality

Buyer: IHG Hotels & Resorts and Ishraq Hospitality have partnered to open Crowne Plaza Dubai Jumeirah. The five-star hotel will be a city retreat in the heart of Jumeirah 1.

The property has 252 keys across rooms and suites. It offers views of Burj Khalifa, Jumeirah Beach, and the city skyline. Featuring 32 family connecting rooms, it comes with a number of technology-driven features to improve guests’ stays. Enhancements include USB outlets throughout the hotel, unlimited high-speed wifi, and Chromecast-enabled TVs.

The hotel has four dining concepts. The Plaza, on the ground floor, includes a coffee lounge and areas for co-working. Cuisines is the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant. Ginger offers authentic pan-Asian cuisine and The Docks is a classic British pub.

There’s also a rooftop pool where you can enjoy light bites and drinks, plus a 24-hour gym. Guests can also partake in one of the property’s five treatment rooms, whirlpool, Moroccan bath, and sauna.

There is a ballroom hosting up to 150 people and a range of meeting facilities. Crowne Plaza Dubai Jumeirah is hoping to become a business and event hub for the city.

It’s the latest IHG hotel to open in Dubai, with 2020 seeing the introduction of a number of properties. They included Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina and Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown.

THPT Comment: IHG doing well in UAE with this new breed Crowne Plaza. This new hotel follows on from our post in February 2021, when they announced eight new hotels to open over the next few years, although the original plan was for HI Express hotels at the budget end.
