Raffles Opens it’s First Hotel in Poland

No. of Keys: 106 rooms and suites and a variety of culinary options, including the Europejski Grill, The Long Bar and The Humidor, and the Raffles Spa with six treatment rooms, a gym, complete with Technogym™ and an upstream indoor swimming pool.
Owner: The Hotel Europejski was requisitioned from H.E.S.A. under the communist rulers and returned to its rightful pre-war owners in 2005, and Julien Barbotin-Larrieu, representing the owning company, H.E.S.A. – Hotel Europejski Spolka Akcyjna – set up in 1921 by the descendants of the hotel’s founder, explained their choice of Raffles to manage the property:

Raffles Europejski Warsaw is located in the neo-renaissance palace built by Enrico Marconi, renowned as a Grand Dame of European hotels during the 19th century.
The rooms and suites featuring blackened oak floors, contemporary Polish art, a corner library and sleek marble-clad bathrooms with Art Deco touches.

THPT Comment: I am sure Warsaw will benefit from the the opening of such an iconic brand in this sumptuous looking building. To date Warsaw only has six 5 star hotels.
