The Serviced Apartment Awards 2018 Held 19th March 2018
Date: March 2018
Location: Grange Tower Bridge Hotel
Name: The Serviced Apartment Awards 2018
What/How: The Serviced Apartment Awards are the only awards to exclusively recognise excellence across the serviced apartment, extended stay, aparthotel and short-term
rental sectors.
Now in it’s third year, the organisers received more than 200 entries from around the world. These were reviewed by a panel of independent judges which includes journalists, architects,
designers, investors, consultants and travel buyers.
They introduced a new award – Buyer of the Year – which recognised the crucial role that business travel and the people who procure it play in the serviced apartment sector.
Two categories – the Rising Star and Industry Inspiration awards – have been voted for by Serviced Apartments News readers in their thousands.
Sponsors of the event were: Nomad Aparthotels, Criton Apps, Adagio Aparthotels, Avvio, Brera Serviced Apartments, Cycas Hospitality, The Fine Bedding Company, Frasers Hospitality, Grange Hotels, Hypnos Beds, Maxxton, PROCLAIM Communications, Stay AKA and Yays.
Supporting partners were: Serviced Apartment News, Buying Business Travel,

THPT Comment: The owners of THPT (Dev Anand and Associate Partner, Charles McCrow) started the first serviced apartment booking agency in 1991! and John Wagner was a rookie sales manager with Marriott’s Residence Inn…so interesting to see how the sector has grown in 35 years…it even has it’s own awards ceremony and industry trade body (based in the UK – ASAP) and magazine!
