Buyer: A new generation IntercityHotel is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2022 in Paderborn, a German university city in North Rhine-Westphalia with over 150,000 inhabitants.

The hotel will provide 190 rooms, a conference area, a Bistro Lounge Restaurant and parking facilities in the immediate vicinity. The interior design concept by the Italian architect Matteo Thun. Guests will have the added benefit of the FreeCityTicket scheme, which permits use of the whole of the city’s public transport system free of charge.

“We are looking forward to bringing all the great advantages that the IntercityHotel concept offers to business and leisure travellers alike to Paderborn in the not too distant future,” said Joachim Marusczyk, founding Managing Director of InterCityHotel GmbH. “Together with our partner, BREMER Projektentwicklung GmbH, headquartered in Paderborn, we are now taking the next steps in the realisation of the project.”

More than 40 other IntercityHotels can be found at major transport hubs in cities both in Germany and abroad. Numerous further hotels are at the development stage.
