Gantry Group signs with Hilton for new £77m Stratford hotel

Buyer: The Gantry Group, a JV between Black Friar Holdings and a £1.1bn institutional investor, who have signed a franchise agreement with Hilton. Hilton currently have two other Curio Collection hotels in London – The Trafalgar St. James & Lincoln Plaza London.

The Curio Collection is a relatively new addition to Hilton’s brands with a portfolio of 40 hotels (2017) started in 2014. Hilton now (2017) has 5,100 hotels under 14 brands comprising 838,000 rooms in 103 countries.

Cost £77m – build contract awarded to Ardmore Group, builders of The Ned, The Corinthia London, The Dorsett and many other London & UK hotels
