Mövenpick Zagreb in partnership with Accor are opening the first hotel in Croatia for the Moevenpick brand, renowned for bringing Swiss hospitality to life and celebrating the essential pleasures of life through moments of true indulgence.

The hotel is located in the modern business zone of New Zagreb, only ten minutes’ drive from the airport and twenty minutes’ drive from the city centre. The opening of the first Mövenpick hotel in Zagreb is a result of a successful collaboration between Accor Group and MPPD company, which will also open the Mövenpick Split in 2024.
The newly opened hotel impresses with its modern architecture and thoughtful design inspired by iconic, world-renowned inventors, most noteably Nikola Tesla. The property offers 104 smart rooms and suites. Each of the rooms provides a personalised guest experience, named after a different city from Europe and around the world. Every room is decorated with a tailor-made map of the city it is named after, thus initiating a journey around the globe for the future return guests.
For gourmets at heart there is Nikola’s restaurant, inspired by the achievements of the universally recognized Nikola Tesla, serving contemporary international cuisine, finest local specialties as well as selected Mövenpick signature dishes. Regional ingredients and Croatian flavours create special culinary experience. The terrace is open for outdoor dining. Adjacent to the restaurant is The New Yorker bar, the perfect place to end the evening with a glass of good wine or a signature cocktail.
Mövenpick Zagreb is proudly introducing in Croatia an array of Mövenpick branded food products, starting with Mövenpick coffee offered complimentary in each guestroom as well as in the restaurant.
The meeting space includes a conference room with 120 seats, two smaller meeting rooms and a multi-purpose private room LOUNGE 3328, named after the room number where Nikola Tesla was staying at the famous New Yorker hotel. This venue is ideal for gatherings, informal meetings or special occasions. For complete discretion there is direct entry from the underground garage.
The hotel offers a 24-hour gym, which is complimentary for all hotel guests.

THPT Comment: Love the marketing ploy of naming the rooms after different cities to encourage return guest traffic…what happens if I book say Paris, but the previous guest extends their stay! This will be Accor’s third hotel in Croatia, after the Heritage Hotel Fermai Split MGallery and the Rixos Premium Dubrovnik
