Buyer: The Nicholls family, with their roots in South African safari luxury tent-style accommodation are launching three unique products in their first Greek island development. Phase One, called Aroha, includes 20 ultra high-end tented villas as well as 15 bohemian style villas.
Amenities include a full service spa, open air yoga studio with a daily program of led classes, state of the gym, non-motorised water sports, cycling, walking and running trails, electric quad bikes for guests to explore the 7km island, natural swimming pools and meditation pods concealed within the surroundings.
There will be a Mediterranean fusion restaurant and beach bar serving locally sourced ingredients as well as detox juices and vegan protein shakes. Menus will be planned as part of a holistic well-being program – chef, gardener and naturopath working together.
Sunset wine bar, showcasing the very best Greek wines. Guests will be invited to join a cooking, painting or pottery lesson, and they can book an island hopping tour, rent their own boat or spend the day lounging at the water’s edge.
The first phase, an adults only development, is set over 75 acres, an exclusive enclave offering a collection of opulent tented accommodation along with recreational areas overlooking the jewel blue sea.
Green architecture design and construction provides a low environmental impact. There is an application of sustainable power generation and water conservation. Using eco cleaning products in both the kitchen and housekeeping services and organic natural in-room amenities as well as reef safe sunscreen at every lounger, make the resort very sustainable. This includes a Farm to Table food operation growing as much “home grown” produce as possible;
