The Hyatt hotel brand is unveiling plans for the Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars, which will open in July 2022.
The 204-room hotel, due to open this summer, will join nine other Hyatt properties in London, marking another step in the Hyatt brand’s ambitious growth strategy in the UK. Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars will be the 13th Hyatt hotel in the UK.
The hotel, which is the result of a management agreement between Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Blackfriars Hotels Limited, is located close to Blackfriars tube station in the vibrant South Bank area.
The property was once a Bridewell Palace (he had enough brides) for Henry VIIIth and is now a Grade II listed historic building, ensuring its preservation. The hotel respects the rich history of the building and will now include a specialist Chinese restaurant and cocktail bar. It will also offer meeting spaces, a fitness centre and extensive outdoor space.
