The Fund: We have been approached by a family office, known to THPT, who have £1bn funds, which they are prepared to loan to hotel industry players, amongst other industries. This includes, but is not limited to, metal, property, and receivables.
Their in-house decision-making is up to speed, as what is expected from a boutique financier. Their swift action is not limited by purely formula based funding rules.
They will deliver where others won’t and are open to Joint venture opportunities. Their confidence comes from the continued success in delivering £500m – £1bn facilities that can be deployed to property owners, developers and businesses with property assets, whose cash may be starting to or has ran out in their business or development site/s mid-build.
Not least of all, in these times, hoteliers may be struggling to secure payment holidays with their current lenders. The minimum they are looking at for a project would be £8m, although they may consider slightly less if there is a clear opportunity, the interest rates vary project to project.

• How far they you from completing the project, if it’s a development site, or opened/opening date
• Current Debt Terms – amount, current rate and length of current loan term
