Rosewood Munich to Open in Early 2023

No. of Keys: 132, a full service spa, which will house five treatments rooms, as well as an indoor pool and fitness area. Additionally, the hotel will include extensive meetings and events spaces to accommodate a variety of private gatherings, conferences, and special events for up to 400 guests.

Buyer: Bayerische Hausbau, who have appointed Rosewood to manage the hotel. Bayerische Hausbau is one of the largest full-service real estate companies in Germany.

With a portfolio valued at about 2.5 billion euros, it holds a leading position in its core market Munich.

Bayerische Hausbau bundles the Schörghuber Corporate Group’s real estate and construction activities under its roof. The range of services it offers covers the business segments real estate and development.

This includes professional portfolio and asset management, the management of the properties in the Group’s own portfolio, as well as classic property development activities.

Bayerische Hausbau is part of the Schörghuber Corporate Group, which operates three other business divisions, Beverages, Hotels and Seafood.

Their hotel business with the management company Arabella Hospitality operates 15 properties in Germany, Switzerland and Mallorca. The majority of hotels are managed by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, part of Marriott International Hotels & Resorts since 2016.

It will be Rosewood’s first property in Germany and seventh property in Europe.

Which are, Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany, Rosewood London, and the newly reopened Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel in Paris.

Additional upcoming properties in Europe include Rosewood Vienna, Rosewood Edinburgh, and Rosewood Hotel, Grosvenor Square in London.
