The new property acts as a gateway to the sister JA Enchanted Island Resort. GM Burak Aydin commented: “JA Enchanted Waterfront Villas are ideal for those who want to experience the beauty and serenity of island life, while still being close to the action and nightlife of nearby hotspots, cultural attractions and local lifestyle.”

F&B venues include the Starboard Bistro, Bounty Restaurant, and the Castaway Bar, each offering authentic locally-inspired cuisine and atmosphere.

It is based along the east coast of Mahe, 5km from Seychelles International Airport. It is also 4km from Victoria and close proximity to shops and F&B venues on Eden Island. It is the second UAE-based hospitality group to open a new property within the archipelago, with Abu Dhabi’s STORY Hospitality opening STORY Seychelles recently.

The luxurious Waterfront Villas are situated on 8,000 sqm of tropical land, with the first phase comprising of the Lodge, 2 Waterfront Pool Villas and the private marina opened from March 1st.

The spacious villas are designed in a contemporary Creole style set against a striking backdrop of mountains sea views and neighbouring islands. With sheltered verandas overlooking a garden and private infinity pools offering ocean views and each villa also has direct access to a perched beach. JA Enchanted Waterfront Villas are available for freehold purchase with the Villa Owners having the option to return their villas to the Resort Rental Pool.

Both the Seychelles and Maldives are expected to lead the recovery of the leisure tourism market once Covid subsides. That is according to Arabian Travel Market organisers who said the two island nations “tick all the boxes” for Middle Eastern travellers.

THPT Comment: Good to see interest resume in the Seychelles, that has been hit badly by Covid, as it’s totally dependent on international travellers flying in from around the world. THPT has some significant opportunities in both The Seychelles, as well as Mauritius and the Maldives.
