Investment firm Primestar Group has added a third Berlin hotel to its portfolio with the acquisition of the Mercure Hotel Berlin Mitte for an undisclosed amount
The hotel with 120 rooms near Potsdamer Platz and Gleisdreieck is the first joint franchise project with Accor and the first hotel of the Primestar Group operated under Mercure brand.
Primestar Group, which is headquartered in Berlin, already operates another franchise hotel in Berlin – Hampton by Hilton Berlin City Centre Alexanderplatz, as well as the recently opened June Six Hotel Berlin City West, the flagship hotel of its own boutique brand June Six Hotels.
The Mercure Hotel Berlin Mitte expands the Primestar Group’s franchise hotel portfolio to 15 hotels with a total of 3,454 rooms.
