Accor is set to open the Movenpick Living and Residences in Cairo, featuring 150 serviced apartments and 40 branded residences.
Once open in 2026, Mövenpick Living and Residences in Cairo will offer four dining venues, including a Mövenpick Lounge, a speciality restaurant and a pool bar, as well as a fitness centre, a spa and a Little Bird’s Club for kids.
Located in the New Capital City (NCC), the property will be part of the Sixty Iconic Tower mixed-use development, which will feature hospitality, residential, entertainment, commercial, and retail components as well as government entities.
The NCC is located 45 kilometres east of Cairo, in an area approximately half the size of the seaport of Suez. A new intercity metro link will be built to connect NCC to Cairo via New Cairo. An international airport will be constructed and located in NCC, which features hospitality, residential, entertainment, commercial, retail components and government entities, including the presidential palace, parliament, cabinet, Supreme Court, all ministries of Egypt and various foreign embassies.
