Atenor and Ennismore have announced the signing of a new TRIBE hotel within the FORT 7 project near Warsaw Chopin Airport.

TRIBE Warsaw Airport will be a sustainable hotel development inside Atenor’s FORT 7 project. It will have 266 rooms and be operated by Ennismore.

FORT 7 will be a modern, multifunctional, sustainable project located in the Polish capital’s Włochy district, close to the airport. Spread over 200,000 sqm, it will contain roughly 5.5 ha of green spaces and the lake area of Fort Zbarż. The first phase of its opening will be designed by JEMS Architekci and include the hotel as well as three office properties. The final phases will see the creation of developments providing for retail, education, private rental services and residential uses. JEMS designed the five-star Renaissance hotel at the same hotel, which opened in May 2018.

“We’re extremely excited TRIBE will be part of FORT 7, as it’s deep-rooted in sustainability, which matches with TRIBE’s ethos of simple, functional, and non-wasteful. We look forward to opening the doors, and welcoming both local and international guests to enjoy the beautifully designed and carefully considered lobby, rooms and restaurants and bars”, said François Leclerc, Deputy Brand COO for TRIBE at Ennismore.

“Atenor’s Sustainable Policy to sustainable architecture and construction, and the resulting reliance on the highest quality standards, allow us to shape the urban landscape in Warsaw and create a new city quarter focussed on the needs of Fort 7 occupiers and residents. We believe the collaboration with Ennismore will be the basis to provide for a unique living and work area by offering a large variety of services within walking distance of this upcoming new area of Warsaw”, commented Sven Lemmes, Executive Officer of Atenor.

Atenor care about sustainability in their projects, commitment to excellence, diversity and integrity. Their projects include Astro 23 and Realex in Brussels, Belgium. They did own the Brussels Europa (Crowne Plaza) but that closed in 2011.

THPT Comment: Good to see TRIBE on the move….been a bit quiet since Accor announce the brand in 2019, with their first hotel in Perth, Australia and promises of “ten other openings are already scheduled to take place by 2022 in Europe and Asia Pacific for a total of more than 1,700 rooms in the next three years.” Gaurav Bushan, then Chief Development Office for the parent Accor added  “It will be making its debut in 150 international destinations by 2030.”
